I have a PhD from Cornell University and was a teaching assistant in the Animal Science Department for Endocrinology, Biology of the Mammary Gland & Lactation, and Growth & Metabolism of Farm Animals. I was also a teaching assistant for Anatomy & Physiology in the Animal Science Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. My PhD research focused on endocrinology, metabolism, and molecular biology. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Anschutz Medical Campus researching fetal physiology and molecular metabolism. I have strong academic writing skills and enjoy helping others convey their ideas, write succinctly, and develop their own voice. I also like tutoring for the opportunity to teach biology concepts one on one with an emphasis in understanding and future application rather than simple memorization.
