Experience
My favorite Spanish course at CU was called "Methods of Teaching Spanish". I eventually want to become a Spanish teacher. I learned so many valuable things in that class such as how to effectively teach Spanish to a wide range of students, and a number of different approaches to teaching/tutoring that may work better in different situations depending on the student. I also worked in a third grade Spanish immersion class throughout my last semester at CU which really helped me to master my Spanish skills. Although that experience was with elementary school students, I really enjoy working with high school and college students as well. I am comfortable with beginning level Spanish all the way up to 400/4000 level college Spanish.
