Experience
I have taught, instructed, and edited college level science courses, as well as graduate level education courses. My primary focus in graduate school has been science education, which required me to take graduate level astronomy & physics courses such as exoplanets, data mining, and cosmology. I enjoying teaching and education, and am in between graduate school and jobs, and require supplementary income. Tutoring is a great way to make ends meet, while at the same time continuing to teach in some capacity. Also, I have a background in German and American Sign Language. I took German for 6-7 years and lived in Munich for a year as an exchange student. American Sign Language was used in my home as a child since my sister is profoundly deaf.

Hobbies
In my spare time, I love to get outdoors, hike, tend to my vegetable garden, crochet, cross-stitch, and exercise! I have numerous hobbies and interests since I love to learn new things! I have two dogs, a husky (Kellaa) and a boxer (Karenin). My favorite job I ever had was as an astronomy adventure guide for the Appalachian Mountain Club in New Hampshire, where we would hike telescopes to the top of mountains and have star parties.
