Experience
I've been teaching high school math for the last 20 years. I took this year as a sabbatical but am enjoying tutoring. During my 20 years I often have students that I work one on one with during office hours. I am patient and can break down steps for students. Students feel comfortable with me and gain a lot of confidence.
