Experience
I have 19 years of teaching experience with students of all ages, abilities, as well as English language learners. I enjoy working one-on-one with students and providing tools to help each individual be successful and feel confident in their abilities. Though certified at the elementary level, the bulk of my tutoring experience has been with students in middle school thru adult. Various opportunities I've had to work with gifted learners and those with special needs have provided me insight into different learning styles and I share knowledge and techniques that have been useful to all learners. I am knowledgeable about organization systems/ tools, strategies for reading and writing, as well as math. My goal as a tutor is to equip students with tools they need to feel confident and take risks as they continue to learn.
