Experience
After graduating from law school at the University of Colorado, I passed the Uniform Bar Exam for the state of Colorado. While I was in law school, I worked alongside public defenders and prosecutors as an intern. After that experience, I started working as a tutor and helping students who were interested in becoming lawyers prepare for the LSAT and develop the study skills necessary to succeed in graduate school. Some of my favorite subjects to tutor are political science, social studies, history, and public speaking. As someone who understands the challenges of standardized tests after taking the LSAT, I know how important it is to be prepared for test day. For this reason, I also tutor test prep and essay prep, as well as help pupils learn how to develop the organizational skills and study habits needed to excel in an academic setting. I believe that everyone has the capacity of being a top student once they're able to work with someone who understands their needs and limitations. For this reason, I like to get to know my students and learn more about their personalities, so that I'm able to motivate them and help them overcome their classroom challenges. Along with law, my other interests include traveling, swimming, and going hiking.
