George Mason University - Bachelors, Theatrical Writing

I earned a writing degree from George Mason University and am currently employed as an editor. I started tutoring sporadically in 2001 and have been tutoring regularly since 2007.  I have a great amount of experience prepping students for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, and HSPT. I'm hoping to focus on assisting students with ACT prep, as I have the most effective study plans available! I am also available for educational coaching and homework assistance for children in middle school or higher. I also specialize in tutoring students with various learning difficulties, such as autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADD, and ADHD. In the past, I received a considerable amount of referrals from educational psychologists. I have experience with a variety of subjects, including algebra, reading, writing, history, psychology, and geography. I also excel at phonics, grammar and mechanics, study skills and organization, and essay editing. In my spare time, I enjoy music, reading, and spending time with my dogs.
