Metropolitan State College of Denver - Bachelor of Arts, History & English - 3.8 - graduated with history degree in 2008, English degree in 2012; spent a summer on a fellowship to Oxford in England studying Shakespearean plays and Victorian era literature; I like being brief on these boxes, Shakespeare said brevity is the key to wit.

Experience

I have been a high school English and Social studies teacher; I have a passion for all things history; my particular focus with history was in Ancient and medieval civilizations and military history; I love classic literature, Dante being my personal favorite, and I also appreciate new literature as well. Chuck Pahliniuk is my favorite modern writer. I spent time with the United States Army and understand how the military works and has worked as a whole.

Hobbies

I have a number of hobbies. I coached rugby for seven years and took teams to state championships five-years in a row. I loved leading people to the highest level available to them. I play hockey in a men's league in Denver, and very much enjoy competition. I am also an avid woodworker and enjoy carpentry as a hobby. In addition to the more physical activities, I am a total nerd, loving everything from Star Wars to Lord of the Rings, to superheroes and beyond.
