Washington University in St Louis - B.S., Biomedical Engineering
I earned my degree recently in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. The courses I took in the engineering field opened up the opportunity for me to explore several different areas of study. I believe this is an asset that benefits me with a strong foundation for helping other students learn various subjects. On a personal note, I would describe myself as being very curious about the world around me. I'm constantly willing to try new things, and I'm motivated by an innate passion for adventure. I also possess the motivation and drive to help other people, and tutoring is a way I can effectively help others. In the past, I've tutored students representing a variety of grade levels, from elementary school to college. I'm adept at teaching algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics, social sciences, biology, organic chemistry, physics, English, French, Spanish, reading, geography, and writing. I'm also able to help students to prepare for tests such as the SAT, ACT, PSAT, and MCAT. I believe tutoring is a great way to build relationships and connections with people while offering help, and I'd appreciate the opportunity to help individuals looking for academic support. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy rock climbing, stargazing, and reading.
