Experience

I spent four years in Spain as both a student and an instructor. While based in Sevilla, I came to feel passionately about the Spanish language and life. I attended Mount Holyoke College. Eventually, I went to Boston College and earned a master's in Hispanic Studies. I received a Teaching Fellowship and worked as a Spanish instructor for young children. I worked as an English instructor for young children in Spain as well. Now I've settled in Denver, Colorado. As a tutor, I work with people ranging from childhood to adulthood. I know how to work on a multitude of subjects related to Spanish and I do this on a multitude of levels. For instance, I can teach Spanish 1-4. Within those levels, I can work with advanced students, students in need of Spanish test prep, and students with other Spanish related concerns. I work with numerous other language subjects such as TOEFL and listening. I also tutor English and overall learning skills.I like to travel and spend time at museums as well as learn about local culture. I enjoy cooking.
