I earned my BA in Religious Studies and English Literature from Pacific Lutheran University in 2008, and an MA in Systematic Theology and Literature from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York in 2012.
Experience
I have tutored with CollegeTrack/Summit54, and been a literacy para at an elementary school. Most recently, I taught Intervention classes in English Language Arts and Literacy to 6-8th grades at Wyatt Academy Charter School in Denver. I would love to tutor individuals to be able to work one on one with students on the specific details they need to focus on. I do well when I am able to work in depth on topics, and am a patient and gentle teacher.

I am a reader who also loves to write. I have eclectic tastes, and enjoying sharing my passion for learning. I am a Colorado kid who went to New York City for my graduate degree in Systematic Theology and Literature. My studies focused on the role of adoption throughout various theologies, and I would like to eventually pursue and academic career. I spend much of my time outdoors or exploring big cities. I am really good at having fun and appreciating life.
