Hello! My name is Sara Spala and I am a fourth grade teacher with a passion for making learning fun. I am a certified teacher in all subjects K-5 with an endorsement for 6-8th grade Language Arts. I earned my B.A. from Michigan State University in Elementary Education and am currently working toward my masters’ degree in Curriculum Design. Before I became a teacher, I worked in childcare for ten years and held a leadership position at a children’s summer camp for three years. Through my experience working with elementary and middle school students, I found that I absolutely love being a teacher. I believe that EVERY child can be successful and I am committed to helping each student gain the skills and confidence to overcome the challenges they face. I am very excited to meet you!
