Camila P.
Private tutor in Denver, CO
Education
I received my B.A. in May (2015) from Brandeis University in French and Francophone Studies and Psychology. I graduated Magna cum laude, with the additional Anna S. Aronson award for showing "outstanding promise in French and Francophone Studies."
Experience
I'd like to be a tutor because I personally love studying French language and culture, and I want to help students gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the language and culture as well. They say teaching is one of the best ways to learn, so I hope to also keep learning and honing my French skills. I have a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies from Brandeis University. French classes I took ranged from literature to grammar/writing to history. I also spent a semester abroad in Paris, so I have a good deal of personal experience regarding cultural norms, differences, etc. I have been accepted to TAPIF (Teaching Assistant Program in France), so I will spend the 2015-2016 school year in France helping teach English to French students.
