I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2007. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Secondary Education. During my training at UNC, I acquired experience in a various English/Language Arts classrooms at the middle school and high school levels. At the beginning of my career, I worked as a tutor while student teaching and substitute teaching. I am a currently licensed English/Language Arts teacher. Hobbies
One of my greatest passions in life is teaching. I am an avid reader who loves cooking, running, camping, and the outdoors. I spent a year teaching abroad in South Korea which inspired my love of traveling. My summer days consist of reading a good book, walking my dog, trying new recipes, or training for a race. I am currently reading the "Divergent" series and "Call of the Wild".
