I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2007. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Secondary Education. During my training at UNC, I acquired experience in a various English/Language Arts classrooms at the middle school and high school levels. I have since received extensive training and attended professional development to further my knowledge of instruction.
Experience
At the beginning of my career, I worked as a tutor while student teaching and substitute teaching. I am a currently licensed English/Language Arts teacher. For the past seven years, I have taught in the Middle School Language Arts classroom in a variety of settings. I am highly trained in intervention strategies to support readers and writers needing additional assistance.
