The unofficial motto of my recent alma mater, New College, is “That the natural state of the human spirit is Ecstatic Wonder! That we should never settle for less!”. I have pursued a rigorous education in the biological sciences while maintaining a broad foundation in the liberal arts. I have enjoyed three years of employment as a peer tutor in the Writing Resource Center at my college. During this time, I have cultivated an engaging tutoring style that is sensitive to academic anxieties, while seeking to impart enthusiasm and excitement in the student.
