Education

Graduated from University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BA in Journalism and Advertising in 2010 (GPA: 3.6) I took the strategic communication route in the Journalism School where we focused on creating advertising campaigns and writing for the web. I currently work at a marketing agency as a Social Media Specialist and have published 10 ebooks over the past year.

Experience

In college, I tutored and helped read over classmate essays with an emphasis on grammar and flow of the essay. In high school, I took AP Literature and AP Language and passed both tests with a 4 and love helping others improve their creative writing skills. I love being a tutor because I enjoy helping others express themselves through writing. It's not the easiest thing for everyone and it is very rewarding when you can see a student improve in this arena. I currently work at a marketing agency where I write materials from press releases, blogs and newsletters to social media posts and ebooks. I am constantly writing and editing new content.

I am currently working on writing my own book. It is definitely a work in progress but I work on it every week. In addition, I play soccer, snowboard, mountain bike, hike...pretty much anything outdoors. I was born in Colorado and can't imagine living anywhere else. I'd miss the playground we have in our backyard!
