Hobbies
I seek to savor my own life by living with passion and soul. To this end, I pour myself into everything I do. I love to read and consider some of my favorite authors as mighty, pen-wielding, mentors. A few books that have significantly influenced or shifted my thinking include: Stephen Harrod Buhner's, The Lost Language of Plants; Neil Postman's, Technopoly and Amusing Ourselves to Death; John O'Donohue's, Anam Cara; Mark Twain's, Huck Finn; Tim O'Brien's, The Things They Carried; Samuel Hahnemann's, The Organon; AJ Cronin's, The Citadel; Elizabeth Bummiller's, May You be the Mother of a Hundred Sons; Harriet Beecher Stowe's, Uncle Tom's Cabin to name just a few. Hobbies that I find especially enjoyable include: hiking, camping, lifting weights, music/live theater, billiards, writing, being creative, and people that don't take themselves too seriously.
