Having recently completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Creative Writing at the University of Colorado-Denver, I know first hand the importance of strong reading and writing skills. I can help any elementary student gain and strengthen their skills whether it be in reading, comprehension, grammar, spelling and/ or writing. And while I specialize in language arts, I am able to help students also strengthen their math and science. After all, strong reading skills can translate into strong math and science skills. I can also assist students in becoming more organized while creating good study habits . As a tutor I am certified by the College Reading and Learning Association. In August 2015 I will begin student teaching in the Denver Public School District.
