Education
I attended University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a bachelor in music education and a minor in Spanish. I've always been a good student. Math came easily to me - in high school I became a peer tutor. I learned to write well, which helped me in my AP literature and AP European History classes.
Experience
I've been teaching in the public schools and tutoring since 1986. I have run my own music studio during that time, teaching piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone and music theory. In the schools I've taught, math, reading, writing, and Spanish. I've worked with learners of all ages - 3 years to adult. I've also worked with a wide variety of learning styles - gifted, talented, cognitively delayed, ADD/ADHD, autistic, hearing impaired.
