I graduated from Webster Area High School in Webster, South Dakota in 2011. I am currently pursuing a degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis on Public Relations at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. I just finished my major classes and now I'm completing my electives online. I will graduate in December 2015.
Experience
I haven't actually tutored before, but I was asked numerous times to be an english or writing tutor at Northern. I just didn't have the time to do it then. I scored a 21 on the ACT overall, however I did score a 26 in the reading and english sections. I am great at editing papers and giving suggestions. I'm not sure my sister would have received an "A" on her senior term paper if it wasn't for me. :)

Hobbies
I just moved to Denver from South Dakota. I've never lived anywhere other than South Dakota in my life so this is a pretty wild experience for me. I love traveling and have done a lot of it throughout the USA including Washington DC, NYC, Chicago, St. Louis, and Florida. I also love sports and anything outdoors including hiking and camping. I'm a 3rd degree black belt and in the past I was an assistant instructor at my Tae Kwon Do gym. From that, I learned a lot about how to teach kids and keep them interested.
