Education
Sociology bachelor's degree is in progress currently with the University of Northern Colorado online program. I have always had a high GPA, usually between 3.5 and 4.0. I graduated from Denver West High School in 2005, 8th in my class and with honors.
Experience
Even though I am young, I have worked in the Douglas County Hope Online Charter School program for ten years and will continue to do so next school year. I have been the lead mentor in classrooms from grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. I have knowledge and practice in the new common core standards. Children and education are both a passion of mine and I love being able to be involved in the process of a children's growth in knowledge. I have had many English Language Learner trainings and I also have ten years of professional development under my belt. Professional Development trainings have had subjects from guided reading to making math more fun and interesting.
