I also have 2 years of experience in testing and curriculum development while employed as the lead instructor and manager of a national tutoring chain (Mathnasium). I am very familiar with the structure of different math textbooks, testing methods, problem types and solutions at the middle school, high school and college level. My teaching method is a "systematic" approach to various types problems -- this allows students to spend less time memorizing things and more time recognizing patterns and developing an "instinct" on how to do a problem. I also specialize in explaining to students the really useful calculator tricks to help save time on tests and homework.
