I lived in Paris for 4 years before I attend University of Iceland and got my B.A. in French. I worked as journalist for an Icelandic newspaper for a year - traveled and interviewed various people, such as the first inmate in the Icelandic the judicial correction system who earned his high school diploma.

Hobbies

When I was nineteen, I was touched by the acting performance of the main actor in the Iceland’s National Theatre production of Hamlet. It was with his passion, clarity of thought, use of language, and commitment that I was transported into a world, which I never wanted to leave. As a result, I decided to become an actress. This passion has taken me to different countries, France, Iceland, and the Untied States, where I have gain incredible life experience and amazing training. I have had the privileged to be trained by teachers who are passionate about their art form and have an incredible respect towards this demanding craft. These teachers have impacted and influenced me to the point that now I want to share my passion for the theater to other people. I want to communicate how important role drama plays within our society. Also, I want to share how one the main roles of the theatre is to protect democracy within our contemporary society, which cannot survive without people who are always exploring and questioning about their contemporary social order in order to make people’s life better. Further, I have been exposed to the acting world since I was teenager. I have worked in commercials and held multiple lead roles at Regent University in Virginia Beach. I also have years of experience working on sets and with production companies. However, my main interest is to teach and share my passion, experience, and knowledge as an actor to other people and to continue to share stories through acting and writing.
