Fort Lewis College - BA, Economics

Teaching and working with my students is very enjoyable. Experienced with teenagers and college students, I am strict about them meeting my standards and can help in many areas. I tutor middle school math and reading and writing through high school. Spanish, business, economics, human geography, social studies, and ACT, SAT, and PSAT skills are other areas I am able to help with. I've been teaching high school and college students since 2009, as part of an experiential education program which covered marine sciences, seamanship, and leadership.I spent my early life in South America. While growing up, I would wander the Andes Mountains and amongst ancient Inca ruins. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I earned a degree in economics at Fort Lewis College in Colorado, where I graduated magna cum laude. I have since been participating in ocean conservation and research programs and recently returned from a scientific expedition with a group of students; we cruised the high seas and visited 11 countries! Learning is just as exciting to me as teaching. Working with students is my greatest passion.Currently, I live in Denver, Colorado and spend my free time sailing, skiing, and enjoying any form of outdoor recreation.
