Kentucky Wesleyan College - BS, Biology/Chemistry

Hello from Denver, Colorado. I earned my BS in Biology and Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from Kentucky Wesleyan College. I've been conducting research on HIV infection since graduation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease.I first started tutoring in Science as an undergraduate university student. I continued working as a tutor for a couple of years after graduation. At this point, I was tutoring high school students in Science and Math.I'm flexible enough to tutor in several subject areas, but the ones that I find most interesting are Biochemistry and Cellular Biology. One of my strong points when working with students is my ability to break down difficult concepts and describe them in layman's terms. I also provide pupils with the study tools they require for success in learning Science.I'm available to take on students in the following subject areas: Algebra 1 and 2, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Science, MCAT Biological Sciences, MCAT, Graduate Test Prep, Math, Chemistry, ACT Science, ACT, Test Prep, and more.My leisure time is spent playing hockey, exercising, and reading.
