April F.
Private tutor in Denver, CO
Education
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Denver and the Iliff School of Theology. I received an MA from Luther Seminary, in St. Paul, and a BFA from North Central University in Minneapolis.
Experience
I have teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, and at the Iliff School of Theology. I am also a professional tutor at the Center for Academic Success at Johnson and Wales University in Denver where I primarily tutor students in academic writing. I can help with a variety of subjects, including English, Writing (college essays, grammar, editing...etc.), Public Speaking, Social Sciences, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and even Piano (I have a minor and have played consistently since I was 5). I don't really have a favorite subject, I just LOVE working with students! I'm very invested in my students' learning and success. I love to discover particular learning styles and work with students in such a way that they get the most out of our time together.
