Double degree in Environmental Engineering and Spanish Language from the Univeristy of Colorado at Boulder Will begin a masters degree at the University of Denver through the Denver Teacher Residency in June 2015 to become a secondary science teacher.
Experience
I have always loved working on math, science, and Spanish with students. I began tutoring the summer after my freshman year of college when I worked at ProAcademy tutoring various subjects. I fell in love instantly. Immediately following, I became working as an at home tutor for a family in Boulder who I worked with for the remainder of my college years. Together we worked on various subjects including: math, science, ACT preperation, and Spanish. I met with this family twice a week for 3.5 years and loved every minute of it. I studied Environmental Engineering and Spanish at the University of Colorado and currently live and work in Denver. I am planning on beginning graduate school in June to become a secondary science teacher at the Univeristy of Denver and can't wait to begin my future career path. I grew up south of Denver and I am so happy to call Colorado my home. I love the outdoors and you'll typically find me finding a way to enjoy all the different activities Colorado has to offer. I am high energy, a hard worker, and highly self motivated. I desire to see every student succeed and reach their highest potential!
