I have created different techniques to help students learn. I have also created individualized lesson plans that are focused on their specific learning needs. I want our tutoring sessions to be as hands-on and fun as possible, and I want my students to have plenty of feedback along the way.I have had quite a bit of experience working with students who were learning English as a second language, as well as helping students get ready for standardized tests, like the GRE. I have worked in many different countries, from South Korea to Saudi Arabia, and been fortunate enough to work with adults and children alike. I offer tutoring in ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, IB Extended Essay, Public Speaking, English, Study Skills, and test prep for TOEFL, ACCUPLACER ESL and Reading Comprehension, ASPIRE English, ACT Writing, SAT Writing, PSAT Critical Reading, and GRE Analytical Writing.I am a graduate of the University of Colorado, where I earned a B.S. in Business Administration. I also have an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. In my free time, I love to go hiking and biking. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends whenever I can, as well as going salsa dancing, and playing my guitar.
