I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, and spent the past 25 years writing. Over that time, I've written content for numerous businesses, published several humor columns, and authored children's books. The experience that I gained by teaching my kids to read and write, as well as participating my children's classes throughout their school years, inspired me to begin tutoring students in numerous different subjects.While I specialize in tutoring in English, reading, writing, and grammar, I also tutor those who are struggling to write and/or edit college essays. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students in social studies, history, world history, American literature, Earth science, science, and geography. Currently, my family and I live in the Denver, Colorado, area. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, cooking, reading, and writing. I also enjoy attending the multitude of restaurants, museums, and cultural events throughout the Denver area.
