B.S. in Biology from Colorado State University, 2 years of a PhD in Biology at University of Utah
Experience
I taught college level Biology as a Teaching Assistant during graduate school, and I completed collegiate coursework in literature and writing as a supplement to my major (English Literature, Creative Writing, College Composition, etc.). I have plentiful experience teaching students both in large and small settings, and I am very apt at adjusting my teaching/tutoring methods depending on the learning style of the individual student. I have taken part in scientific grant writing, and my own (more recreational) writing has been published in various outlets such as Long Story Short e-zine and Pointsincase.com.
