I am a tutor with experience as a teaching assistant and writing consultant who makes it a point to be sure students are comfortable with our sessions and will take something from them they can use not only in our class, but in others. I enjoy teaching a variety of subjects but my favorites are Writing, Philosophy, English, Law, Politics, and anything related to these.I am a cum laude graduate of Regis University with double majors in Philosophy and English Literature and three minors - Politics, Pre-Law, and Vocal Performance. I was a writing consultant at the university's Writing Center for four years. I was also a teaching assistant for three freshman writing seminars. I garnered more writing experience as well as experience in group collaboration as an assistant editorial board member for Stance, a journal for undergraduate international philosophy. Likewise, I learned a lot during the process of publishing an English Literature paper in The Oswald Review, a journal on English research and literary criticism.From the many topics I studied in college, you can tell that I am passionate about learning. I continue to find new interests and spend my spare time singing, canoeing, hiking, and camping.
