Experience
I attended the University of Northern Colorado as well as the University of Phoenix. At the University of Phoenix, I received a B.S. in Business Administration. While going to school, I also worked in the financial industry. After completing my education, I pursued the field of teaching. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I went to Metro State, where I received my license and have been teaching for the past four years. While teaching, I have had the privilege of working with children up to the sixth grade. My tutoring services are focused on math. While I do have a love for other studies and subjects, I am primarily honed in on math because I find it to be most challenging for students to comprehend. My teaching style is much different than most. Instead of typical pencil on paper learning, I prefer to use non-traditional teaching methods (such as hand movements) to help students remember math based techniques and systems. When I am not teaching, I keep busy with my family of five. When not spending time with loved ones, I can usually be found with my eyes glued to a good read or rooting for my favorite football team during a game.
