Experience
Right from the beginning of my extensive path of education, I knew that teaching was something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life, and tutoring is something I have enjoyed immensely since my days as a high school student. I hold Bachelor of Science degrees in both Mathematics Education and Business Management from Purdue University, as well as a Secondary Mathematics Teaching License with a completed Student-Teaching Practicum in Algebra I and II. Today, I am a proud full-time math teacher in secondary schools across Denver. During my time at Purdue, I acted as both an undergraduate teaching assistant within the mathematics department and as a peer tutor, helping my fellow students with troublesome math concepts. As a student teacher, I taught college-level algebra courses and advanced trigonometry, and as a peer tutor I gained valuable experience teaching the concepts of algebra and calculus. I also became instrumental in helping my fellow students prepare for their midterms and final exams. Teaching has become a huge part of my everyday life, and I volunteer in my spare time teaching youth tennis courses and tutoring additional students.
