ExperienceImproving a students academic skills and grades is one of the most exciting things I experience as a tutor. It's easy to transfer my love for literature and composition to a student. I love to teach phonetics, writing, editing, and grammar. Once you can read well, you begin to write well, and nobody gets through public or private school, or college without reading and writing just about every day, and often, for hours. The next subject important in college and adult life is mathematics. I can tutor in arithmetic, math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, calculus, geometry and trigonometry. If you need to prepare for any reading or writing or math tests like the ISEE, PSAT, ACT, GRE, or SAT, or take advanced placement courses while in high school, I can help make you a star pupil. The degrees I have also show you what I can teach. Graduating with a B.A. in Sociology means I can teach in the social science area. I am studying for a master's degree in Sustainable Engineering and Development. To relax, I like to read, walk my dog, take photos and play rugby.
