Boston College - BS, Environmental Geosciences

I began tutoring in high school, as part of being a National Honor Society member. I helped my peers better understand any and all courses that were offered at school. Later, I obtained a job at a tutoring center where I worked with elementary students in math, reading, and phonics. My undergraduate degree from Boston College is in the earth sciences. Because of these experiences, I am able tutor any sort of coursework, ranging from STEM disciplines to history and US government. I am able to help students study for their SAT and AP exams. My goal is to attend law school and I am preparing to take the LSAT. I can draw upon my experiences to help others improve their LSAT analytical reasoning and reading comprehension performance.A knowledgeable tutor can understand the individual needs of their students and work to meet those needs. A good tutor is patient, empathetic, and can connect with the student. With ability to make a personal connection, I can help my students achieve or surpass their academic goals.Since I am new to Colorado, much of my spare time is spent spending time outside exploring the state.
