Private tutor in Denver, CO

University of Colorado Boulder - BA, Environmental Engineering

I have just about 4 years of formal tutoring experience, both as a member of the tutoring club in high school as well as a private tutor. I have worked with students from elementary school all the way up through college and am able to work with courses up to Calculus at the college level. I am at the University of Colorado at Boulder seeking a degree in Mathematics. I have also gained a great deal of tutoring experience, as well as patience, through helping my own friends with their toughest math problems. Some courses that I tutor include Physics, Geometry, Statistics, Algebra at all levels, and Earth Science, to name a few. My love of math comes from my need for challenges and problem solving, and I see the value of education and its role in shaping society. It is my goal to become a math teacher one day so that I may continue to share this passion with others. In addition to math, I enjoy spending time in the Rocky Mountains and have skied for over a decade. I greatly enjoy hiking and trail exploration. I have also worked as a swim coach and a lifeguard. Ceramics is another fun hobby of mine. I value happiness and an active and healthy lifestyle.
