Experience
I have tutored college age students with learning differences for 2 years. I've worked with students with autism, aspergers, ADD, ADHD, and down syndrome in a wide range of subjects including: English, writing, reading, math, economics, mythology, women's studies, and geography. I have been a teacher for over 8 years working with a wide age range from 0-28. I have taught at two Denver Montessori preschools. I was an ESL instructor in Japan for one year, and I have been a brain trainer with LearningRx. I love tutoring because it gives me the chance to get to know my students personalities. I enjoy walking students through the learning process and coming up with individualized plans for success. My tutoring specialty and true passion in life is writing. My poems and writings have appeared in Ink, Sweat & Tears, Litro Magazine, Twisted Vine, Birdy, River Poets Journal, Elephant Journal, and Japan Travel, among others. My first self-published children's book One Day as a Raven can be found in the Kindle store.

When I'm not teaching or tutoring I am busy being an entrepreneur and following my passions. I have a children's yoga company called Tall Tales Yoga, and I publish a podcast called Rocky Mountain Revival, Audio Art Journal. For fun I enjoy riding my bike, snowboarding, reading, writing, hiking, climbing trees, cooking, eating, and spending time with my partner, my friends and family.
