AP English score = 3 No previous tutoring experience but I have worked with kids during a before and after school program which included homework help. I want to be a tutor because I feel I am knowledgeable in the fields I am passionate about and, as a librarian, I enjoy providing help to others and I want to extend that to students who need study and homework help. During undergrad, I took English classes ranging from European literature of the 1900s to literature of the American south. During graduate school, I took a variety of classes including computer programming and organizational management. I have copy-edited two novels that have been published and have been a reviewer for not only academic papers but for two published books as well.
