BA in Spanish and Latin American and Caribbean Studies, study abroad in Chile, Spain and Portugal; currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Studies at the Josef Korbel School at DU with a focus in non profit management and Latin American studies
Experience
In addition to study abroad, I worked in Ethiopia for two years teaching elementary students English language skills. In addition to this TEFL experience, I was an English teacher in Chile during my semester there. I have a lot of experience in the classroom and love teaching. I love to take what I know and teach it to others while sharing my experiences. Currently, I work at an after school program for elementary students. I spent two years as an English Teacher trainer in Ethiopia serving as a Peace Corps volunteer. I open an English Language Improvement Center so the 3000 students at my school would have access to English Language learning materials. I am very passionate about education and look at every challenge as an opportunity to learn.
