While in college I attended education courses which included teaching science to a class of 3rd graders multiple times in a semester. During my final year of college I began to tutor high school and college students (mainly in Math) and that helped foster a love of teaching as well as math. SAT: 2100 ACT: 33 AP Spanish: 4 AP Comp Sci: 4 AP English Lit: 5 AP English Lang: 5 AP European History: 5 AP American History: 5 AP BC Calculus: 5 AP Environmental Science: 5 I have been fortunate enough to have a fairly intuitive feeling for math and I love to pass on the knowledge. I enjoy teaching, but tutoring is even better given the individual attention and ability to explore a subject. I have been successful thus far with helping raise test scores and over all grades (once I helped a student raise their test score from a 68% midterm to a 95% on the final). I love talking about math and helping others understand what is happening "behind the scenes" in a math problem.
