Currently, I am teaching Anatomy and Biology at a high school. I personally find science to be fascinating and I would love to share my love of it with all of the students that I tutor and teach. It is my belief that I should be helping my students to not only gain a complete understanding of the topics they are studying, but that I should be helping them to understand the whole process so that they can learn to answer their own questions by using their problem solving and critical thinking skills. Through this method, students should have the ability to take complete control of their learning and then develop the skills that they will be able to utilize in their future career choices. It is my belief that as a tutor, it is my responsibility to truly try to understand and personally know all of my students that I am working with so that I can gain an understanding of their learning style. With this valuable knowledge in hand, I can then tailor my teaching methods to match the student's style of learning and then help them to find the resources and tools that will best correlate to their personal needs. I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects including anatomy, biochemistry, ACT and SAT test prep, and Spanish.
