Private tutor in Denver, CO
Case Western Reserve University - Bachelors, Chemical Engineering , Case Western Reserve University - PHD, Chemical Engineering
I have my Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and I am not earning my PH.D. in the same subject. While I was studying as an undergraduate, I gained valuable research and industry experience. When I was a junior in college, I was a teacher's assistant in a engineering course, Science of Materials. I have also taught review recitation and had weekly office hours. I had the chance to guide my pupils through their class and help expand their knowledge. This experience lit my initial passion for teaching. My tutoring style is to be hands-on by helping my students with their questions. I also believe that one-on-one teaching should not be purely lecturing format. I use multiple methods to teach the information at hand. I use examples to get the point across. My favorite topics to teach are chemistry and math. I can help with mathematics all the way through calculus and trigonometry. I can also help with standardized test prep, I have taken both the GRE and the ACT. I am looking forward to helping as many students as possible. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me hanging out in the outdoors and attending concerts.
