I know that I have the experience, skill set, and knowledge to create systematic teaching approaches that will work. I can tutor in subjects such as English/language arts, mathematics, behavior, social studies, science, and literacy. I also have experience in teaching writing at the high school and college level, test prep, and essays. I can adapt to any schedule and can meet in-person or online. I am very passionate about teaching and I am a firm believer that we learn our entire lives. I know I am always growing and learning, even as a teacher. I became a tutor because I love to share my knowledge base with others. I gained my knowledge not only from school, but from teaching special education, being a trainer, and a behaviorist. I know that pupils struggle and I am someone who has experience struggling as well. I have learned many ways to overcome the barriers to learning and I want to share them with my students. I love working one-on-one with people because it gives students a chance to engage in learning in a personalized manner. I am looking forward to helping as many people as possible reach their academic goals.
