I am a passionate math tutor. I believe in the value of education and strive to ensure that each student can achieve academic success. I have tutored math since I was in high school, as I have always excelled in the subject. Every person learns in a different way, which makes it important to understand each student's learning style. By understanding this, I can teach student to master the skills necessary to succeed in math. I can provide test prep on the ACT, SAT, GED, and PSAT exams. I know valuable test-taking strategies that can boost their performance on the test. If a student has gaps in their knowledge, I can work with them to round out their understanding of the concepts they're missing. I teach algebra, calculus, and other elementary through high school-level math subjects. I offer summer tutoring to prevent the loss of knowledge while school is out. I believe it is my job as a tutor to prepare a student for beyond the test, ensuring they master each concept so they can succeed in advanced courses. In my free time, I play around with math puzzles. I love learning new ways to solve them and teach it to someone.
