I am a native Mandarin speaker. I was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to the U.S when I was 11 years old. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing. I learned English as a second language, so I understand what it's like to learn a different language and how to learn it like an native speaker rather than just textbook smart. During 2015-2017 September, I was in Taiwan volunteering for children's summer/winter camps.
