Having had teachers myself that were encouraging and inspiring, I am dedicated to bringing that same level of commitment to every tutoring session I conduct. I believe that it is the teacher's responsibility to find what it is that will help motivate their students as well as going over the course material. Simply by making the learning process more enjoyable, a huge difference can be made in how the student will approach their lessons. I am a tutor who is experienced in helping students in courses ranging from a high school level on through college, and have worked to help them not only achieve their goals, but to surpass them. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and have a particular affinity for math and physics-based courses. I am able to tutor in a wide variety of subjects, such as Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, and Mechanical and Civil Engineering. I am also able to provide support for a variety of high school and college level standardized tests.In my free time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, playing with my new puppy, and seeking out new information to learn.
