I earned my bachelor's degree in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and I have just acquired my master's degree from the University of South Florida. I have a love for reading and writing, and believe that they are the most important subjects to conquer in order to master the art of communication. For the past 3 years, I have been a Graduate Assistant Instructor, teaching undergraduate composition and helping students improve their essay and communication skills. I feel that my experience as a student and teacher, along with my patience and individualized approach to tutoring, makes me an effective teacher. I am available to teach a number of different courses, including Biology, Physiology, College Essays, Essay Editing, Literature, Phonics, Reading, Writing, French, American History, Government, World History, Social Studies, Science, English, and many more. I am also experienced in SAT and GRE test preparation, and can also help with Study Skills. In my free time, I like to spend time at the Tattered Cover bookstore, looking for that next great book to read. I also like to spend time outdoors enjoying sports.
