I am a tutor who believes that all my students can make their educations work for them, and I like to remind all my new students that they can do anything they decide to do.After I graduated from college, I spent five years teaching school as an elementary teacher. I have also worked as a literacy tutor in grades K-8th grade. I have taught just about every subject imaginable in the elementary grades, and I have a special love for literacy, as well as Math and Science. I offer tutoring in Elementary and Middle School Math, Physics, American History, European History, Arithmetic, Earth Science, Geography, Pre-Algebra, Life Sciences, Phonics, English, Reading, Writing, 1st Grade, Social Studies, Math, and Science. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines. It was there that I got my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Literacy. I am currently returning to school to earn a degree in Engineering.When I'm not busy, I love to read, and enjoy books of all types. I also love to be active, and go hiking and rock climbing on a regular basis. I love to work with both wood and metal. And, of course, I love to spend time with my pet dogs as well.
