I think that every student should be taught on a one-to-one level. Everyone learns differently, and sometimes people can feel completely lost when they are actually close to understanding a particular topic. I work to discover a student's learning style so that every topic is broken down to the most basic level and I can bridge the gap between what a student knows and what needs to be learned. In my opinion, teaching students on an individual level is very important.I have always had a special love for Spanish, math, and life sciences. However, I also have experience with essay writing, literature, phonics, college essays, and grammar and mechanics. In addition, I can help prepare students for the GRE, HSPT, ISEE, and SSAT.I went to school in Knoxville at the University of Tennessee and graduated in December 2013. When I am not tutoring or working, I enjoy discussing hockey, football, indie music, and video games. I also love to hike and run outdoors, as I have a passion for nature and the outdoors.I am an easygoing, pleasant person and I am sure that I can assist students with reaching their goals, whether those goals be writing a good essay or learning a completely new math topic.
