I am originally from Hong Kong, but I have lived in the States for quite a while. At the present time, I am an office manager and live in Denver. I became a tutor in high school when I volunteered as a member of the National Honor Society. I later served with AmeriCorps NCCC in a high school in California, and then tutored and mentored at a middle school and high school here in the inner city. My favorite courses to teach are Chemistry and Physics, as I really like helping my students to understand the material and learn to solve the problems. I attended Allegheny College in PA, where I earned a degree in Neuroscience. I am looking forward to returning there in a few years to work towards a master's degree. I am available for tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Literature, and various other subjects. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing the violin, cooking/baking, reading, singing, cycling, going out to hear live music, and searching the thrift stores for hidden clothing gems. I also enjoy exploring the many beautiful parks in the city.
